Skaters in our Advanced Program have many opportunities throughout the year to test and advance to higher levels. BFSC hosts both Virtual and In-Person Test Sessions, with USFS-certified judges in Pattern Dance, Free Dance, Skating Skills, and Singles.

For partner pattern dances, BFSC brings a professional male skater to Bismarck; skaters pay him for practicing and partnering with them for their dance test.

In-Person Test Sessions are typically scheduled at the end of each Advanced Session. Virtual Test Sessions will be scheduled periodically, during the skating season.  Skaters work with their primary coach to determine when they are ready to test.
